Newfoundland and Labrador has invited 208 candidates in its latest provincial immigration draw held on August 10, 2026. The 10th draw of the year issued 186 invitations through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 22 through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
The province’s selection process prioritizes candidates who support key labour-market needs, including healthcare, sales and service occupations, rural communities, and sectors with lower representation. As of August 10, Newfoundland and Labrador had issued 2,197 invitations through the NLPNP and AIP in 2026.
Candidates generally need a valid job offer and must submit an Expression of Interest through the province’s Immigration Accelerator Portal. Those receiving an invitation have 60 days to respond.
