Skilled Workers Receive 104 Invitations in Manitoba’s June Immigration Draw

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted its first immigration draw of June 2026, inviting eligible foreign candidates to apply for provincial nomination. On 4 June 2026, the draw issued 104 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates under both the Skilled Worker Streams: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas. The candidates who had previously received invitations through Manitoba's strategic recruitment initiatives were targeted through the draw.

Applicants who indicated in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile that they had received an invitation through a recruitment mission or through the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP) were considered for the draw.

Among the invitations issued, 40 invitations went to candidates invited through Employer Services initiatives, and 39 invitations went to candidates invited through the TPP stream. Additional invitations were issued through Francophone Community (17), Ethnocultural Communities (6), and Regional Communities (2) recruitment initiatives.

This draw is Manitoba's 11th provincial immigration selection round of 2026. The focus on targeted recruitment initiatives by Manitoba, offers skilled foreign workers who have established connections to the province an increased chance to apply for Canadian permanent residence through the provincial nomination pathway.
