Manitoba has sent invitations to 53 skilled workers to apply for provincial nomination in its August 13, 2026 immigration draw. The invitations were issued through both pathways of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Skilled Worker Stream and focused on candidates selected through targeted strategic recruitment initiatives.
The province issued 15 invitations through Employer Services, 13 to candidates from Francophone communities, 12 through ethnocultural communities and nine through regional communities. Another four invitations went to candidates covered by a former temporary public policy. Six invited candidates also had valid Express Entry profiles. This was Manitoba’s 16th draw of 2026, bringing the total number of Skilled Worker Stream invitations issued this year to 4,875. Candidates were required to have declared the relevant recruitment invitation in their Expression of Interest profile.
