340 Letters of Advice to Apply have been issued by Manitoba in the latest round of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
The selection conducted on 8th October, identified as Expression of Interest Draw #281, prioritized candidates working in occupations and communities targeted by the province’s recruitment strategy.
Education workers received 211 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), making this the largest occupational group selected. Eligible professionals included elementary and secondary school teachers, early childhood educators, and teacher assistants employed in Manitoba. Healthcare workers received another 46 invitations.
The remaining 83 invitations were allocated through the Skilled Worker Stream to candidates identified through strategic recruitment initiatives. These covered employer recruitment, Francophone applicants, and regional and ethnocultural communities, as well as a temporary public policy supporting work permits for prospective provincial nominees.
A total of 103 invited candidates had included a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code in their profiles.
The results demonstrate Manitoba’s emphasis on selecting candidates who can meet specific workforce requirements and support regional communities. Individuals considering provincial immigration should review the relevant stream criteria and keep their Expression of Interest information current to improve their readiness for future selection rounds.
