In the last week of April, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 2000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry draw conducted under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category. Candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 514 and who submitted their Express Entry profile before September 24, 2025 (UTC), were considered for the draw.
This draw marks the ninth CEC draw of the month and the twenty-fourth Express Entry draw of 2026. This year the Express Entry draws have been focused on candidates in Canada who have work experience in Canada and those who have provincial nominations. IRCC has sent out thousands of invitations across different streams in 2026, balancing federal economic immigration priorities with labour market needs across provinces.
