Prince Edward Island (PEI) has issued 195 invitations to candidates to apply for provincial nomination targeting workers in priority occupations and sectors facing labour shortages. In the 17th September 2026 draw; the invitations were issued through the PEI Provincial Nominee Program’s Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry pathways.
Priority was given to international graduates from the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and Collège de l’Île. For 2026, PEI is focusing on healthcare, trades, manufacturing, and other key industries experiencing labour shortages.
With this latest draw, PEI has issued 1,229 invitations through Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry so far this year. Invited candidates have 30 days to submit a complete nomination application. The next scheduled draws are October 15, November 19, and December 17.
