2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence have been issued by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw. The new Express Entry draw held on July 21, 2026 required candidates to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 516 to receive an invitation. Candidates also had to have created their Express Entry profile before 5:33 p.m. UTC on May 26, 2026.
There have been 40 Express Entry draws held so far in 2026 and priority has been given to candidates with strong ties to Canada, especially those with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations. This draw is the 12th CEC draw. In 2026 Express Entry draws, CEC draws have issued the largest number of invitations (45,250), followed by French-language proficiency (35,500) and the Provincial Nominee Program (6,450).
Candidates who were not invited in this draw are advised to keep their Express Entry profiles updated. They can try to increase their CRS scores to improve their chances of receiving an invitation in draws which will held in future.
