Thousands of skilled workers with Canadian experience have received the opportunity to move closer to permanent residence in the recent Express Entry draw.
The 1st September draw issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
The draw required candidates to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 521. Applicants also needed to have created their Express Entry profiles before 3:24 a.m UTC on August 18, 2026, to qualify under the tie-breaking rule.
The latest round brings the number of CEC invitations issued in 2026 to 51,250. IRCC has conducted 51 Express Entry draws this year and issued more than 117,000 invitations across different categories.
