Ontario has conducted 6 Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draws on 18th March 2026. Through the draws, 1,243 Invitations to Apply (ITA) have been issued. The six targeted provincial draws are an important development in the selection for the province’s 2026 immigration. To qualify for the draw, the candidate must have had their profile created and attested to by 16th March 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Another significant development of the draws is the return of the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams, for which no draws were conducted since 2024. These streams offer international graduates with advanced degrees in Ontario to secure a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
Along with the graduate-focused draws, the other streams were the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream for physicians and three streams under the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot. The March draw continues the pattern of the active OINP selections held at the beginning of the year, including the large targeted draws of February 2026, where out of the total 25,722 PR invitations across all programs in Canada, Ontario issued more than 3,200 OINP invitations.
The recent draws indicate how Ontario is addressing the current labour needs and is supporting the skilled immigrants and graduates.
