On May 27, 2026, Canada conducted Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Express Entry draw after a gap of four weeks. In the draw, 3000 invitations for permanent residency were sent by IRCC. Eligible candidates were those with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 518 and also who submitted their Express Entry profile before 3:16 p.m UTC on April 30, 2026.
In 2026, Canada conducted nine CEC-specific draws, and this draw had the highest CRS cut-off score recorded among all CEC draws held in 2026. Through CEC draws, Canada continues to focus on selecting skilled workers with work experience in Canada. It is the 29th Express Entry draw of the year and the third draw in May. The Express Entry draws of this year have mainly targeted applicants living and working in the country, especially those under the CEC and Provincial Nominee Program categories.
IRCC in 2026 has issued more than 75,000 ITAs through various Express Entry draws. The CEC draws are the second most draws conducted after the Provincial Nominee Program, and the CEC candidates have received the most number of invitations.
