Manitoba has held its latest immigration draw on 18 June 2026. The province issued 124 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw. The LAAs were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways.
This was Manitoba's 12th provincial immigration draw of 2026. The draw targeted candidates who had previously been invited by the MPNP through its Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The initiative aims to address labour market shortages in the province. It includes employer-led recruitment, overseas recruitment missions, regional community programs, and other strategic partnerships that connect qualified workers with employment opportunities across the province.
The invited candidates included individuals who had declared that they were directly invited by the MPNP through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative or that they held Manitoba-supported work permits. Among the 124 LAAs, 22 were issued to candidates who had declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The draw highlights Manitoba's continued effort of targeted recruitment to address labour market needs and support economic growth. The province through provincial nomination provides skilled foreign workers with a faster pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
