British Columbia has issued 279 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its latest immigration draw held on June 18, 2026. The invitations were targeted toward high economic impact candidates seeking provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.  The draw was held on June 18, 2026 and was the province’s 13th draw of 2026 and the seventh targeting candidates under the Skills Immigration stream.

Among the invitations issued through the Skills Immigration stream more than half of the invitations were based on candidates’ registration scores, with a minimum score requirement of 136 points. The remaining invitations targeted individuals holding a TEER 0–3 job offer with a wage of at least CAD $62 per hour (approximately CAD $125,000 annually).

The draw which was held under British Columbia’s “Innovate” initiative focuses on highly skilled workers across a range of occupations and industries. Provincial authorities did not release details on the specific occupations targeted in this round.

Although this was one of the smaller Skills Immigration draws of this year, British Columbia has remained active in attracting talent. Since the beginning of 2026, the province has issued more than 2,700 invitations through Skills Immigration pathways, in addition to several entrepreneur-focused draws.
