Manitoba has conducted a new round of invitations under its Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The 30 July draw targeted skilled workers employed in the transportation, utility, and manufacturing industries.
766 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued in the latest draw. The draw focused on addressing labour shortages in priority sectors by selecting eligible candidates who meet the province's workforce needs. Individuals invited through this round can apply for a provincial nomination.
Manitoba invited eligible candidates through these MPNP streams and pathways:
Skilled worker in the Manitoba pathway; and
Skilled Worker Stream – in Manitoba and Overseas
Candidates selected through the MPNP must satisfy the eligibility requirements for their respective immigration streams, including work experience, language proficiency, education, and other program-specific criteria.
The targeted approach reflects Manitoba's ongoing strategy of aligning immigration with economic priorities. The province focuses on supporting employers and at the same time providing immigrants with a path to permanent residency.
