The month of April marks one of the most active months for immigration, with IRCC issuing 28,125 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for permanent residence (PR). The selections were made across several federal and provincial programs.

British Columbia issued 484 invitations, Manitoba issued 340 Letters Of Advice, and the Atlantic provinces issued 455 invitations (combined).

The draw results indicate the importance given to skilled migration, regional workforce needs, and category-based selection in Canada. The prioritizing of candidates residing in Canada is part of the immigration plan of Canada for 2026–2028.
