733 Provincial Nominees Receive Canadian Permanent Residence Invitations

Canada has sent 733 invitations to candidates who are nominated by provinces. The invitations for permanent residence were issued through the Express Entry system on September 28 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

To qualify in this round, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 725. They also had to have submitted their Express Entry profile before 1:36 a.m UTC on September 17, 2026.

A provincial nomination provides additional CRS points, giving eligible candidates a stronger position in the Express Entry pool. Those receiving an invitation have 60 days to file their permanent residence application.

Eligible applicants currently working or living in Canada may also qualify for a Bridging Open Work Permit while their permanent residence application is being processed.
