Canada's Second Consecutive PNP Draw in May Issues 334 Invitations

The latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Express Entry draw in Canada, held on May 25, 2026, has sent out 334 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) selected the candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score of 805 and who created their Express Entry profile before 6:16 p.m., UTC on October 16, 2025.

In 2026, PNP draws are one of the frequently conducted selection draws. Reportedly, 11 PNP draws have been held so far in 2026, which is the most number of draws of any type.
PNP is a key economic immigration program where provinces and territories focus on selecting skilled workers who can meet the regional labour demands. Candidates who are nominated get an additional 600 CRS points, which increases their chance of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence.

The 2026 Express Entry draws so far have given importance to those candidates living and working in the country and also the provincially nominated candidates. IRCC continues to balance the national immigration targets and the local workforce shortages across Canada through the draws.

The latest draw is reported to be the 28th Express Entry selection of 2026 and the second draw of May. More than 70,000 ITAs have been sent by IRCC in 2026 as of now.
