Quebec Experience Class Program
PEQ PROGRAM
The (PEQ)Quebec Experience Program is an accelerated immigration program similar to the Canadian Experience Class. PEQ mainly targets foreign workers, and students who graduated from a Quebec institution, besides those studying for graduation.
The first step in obtaining (PR)permanent residence in Canada through the Quebec Experience Program is applying to Quebec. Once Immigration Quebec issues a CSQ, the candidate can apply for permanent residence with the federal government, which will evaluate the application to make sure that the candidate is not medically, or criminally inadmissible to Canada.
PEQ aims to issue a CSQ to eligible workers and graduates without any delay.
PEQ requirements for students

- Must not have violated the terms of student permit or CAQ
- A Quebec diploma eligible for the PEQ OR expect to complete the course within six months after submitting the PEQ application
- Proficiency in French at an advanced‐intermediate level
