Under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), immigration candidates with the skills and experience that are in demand in Saskatchewan can apply for a provincial nomination.
SINP PROGRAMS
INTERNATIONAL SKILLED WORKER
Skilled workers who are willing to work and live in Saskatchewan can apply for a provincial nomination through this category. To be eligible, they need to meet the eligibility criteria set by the province. They must also have the required level of education, work experience, and language proficiency as well.
SASKATCHEWAN EXPRESS ENTRY
This Express Entry-aligned category requires the candidate to be a skilled worker having an active Express Entry profile. They must also be willing to live and work permanently in Saskatchewan.
EMPLOYMENT OFFER
To be eligible, the candidate needs to be a skilled worker with a valid job offer from an eligible Saskatchewan employer.
OCCUPATIONS IN-DEMAND
You can apply under this category if you are a highly skilled worker with experience in one of the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan. It is not mandatory to have a job offer.
SASKATCHEWAN EXPERIENCE
Foreign workers currently living and working in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit can apply under this category.
To be eligible, you must be working in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit for at least 6 months.
HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
A candidate must have worked as a physician, a nurse, or in another health profession in Saskatchewan for a minimum of six months to be eligible.
HOSPITALITY SECTOR PROJECT
You must be currently working in Saskatchewan as a food and beverage server, food counter attendant, or housekeeping staff to be eligible.
LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER PROJECT
If you have been working for an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan for at least six months, you are eligible to apply under the project.
STUDENTS
To be eligible, you must have recently graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. You must also have worked for at least six months in Saskatchewan before applying. If you have graduated from an institution in Saskatchewan, eligible types of work experience include on -campus, off-campus, graduate fellowships and work experience in a PGWP.
ENTREPRENEUR AND FARM
ENTREPRENEUR
If you wish to establish or acquire or become a partner of a business in Saskatchewan, you can apply as an entrepreneur. You must be willing to manage your Saskatchewan business on a day-to-day basis actively. Those interested shall submit an Expression of Interest to the SINP.
FARM OWNERS AND OPERATORS
If you are an experienced farmer with the willingness to invest in farming in Saskatchewan, you are eligible. You must also be willing to settle in Saskatchewan province.
